Claire's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Claire's Story...
Claire is about 8 months old. She LOVES toys and loves to play with other kitties. She is also a lap girl and loves to be petted while you relax. Claire has juvenile cataracts and very limited sight - and needs an adopter who is sensitive to her needs. For instance, a stable environment where things tend to stay the same! She uses her senses to find her way around and learned the layout of her foster home in about two days. She is a FASCINATING kitten. Claire is NOT limited in any way. Claire is a favorite in our rescue and we can't wait to find a home for her where she will be loved unconditionally. To meet Claire, email info@FORrescue.net: She is located in Huntsville, AL. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
