My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kitty Spook is one of our beautiful senior short haired Black Cats that is hoping to find a forever home. She was surrendered at 10 years of age in October 2012 after her first owner passed away and then a family member that took her in could not keep her.

We were told by her owner that she was not happy with her after her first owner passed away, and she was very nervous when she first arrived at our shelter. She quickly learned to trust the staff and now looks forward to being pet and having us take care of her daily "house keeping".

Kitty Spook is quiet, and easy to take care of. She does need a mellow, adult only home , without a lot of commotion or noise, or other animals. She was allowed to be indoor/outdoor, but is happiest staying inside where there is a comfy couch or cat bed to curl up on.

If you are interested in finding out more about Kitty Spook, please contact us or stop by and ask to meet her. She qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors adoption program (senior citizens can adopt a senior pet over 7 years of age for Free).

An approved adoption application is required to adopt an animal from our Humane Society. Our application form is available on our main website or by contacting us for a copy. We do accept completed forms via email, postal mail or at our office when you can come visit. We will begin the review process once an application is received. Feel free to contact us with any adoption questions.
