Bambi's Story...
Bambi is a very sweet Dutch rabbit that was originally surrendered to Newark Animal Shelter. She is believed to be around one years old and is very small for her breed. Bambi is very friendly and loves to rub her face against you while she is being pet. She is great around the other animals and would be great around children. We are teaching her how to use the litter-box and she is catching on very quickly after her spay. We believe that she would be a great candidate for bonding to a male rabbit as she is very laid-back and expresses a lot of interest in the other rabbits. Bambi is such a sweet girl that really wants to find her forever home soon. We ask an adoption donation of $75 to adopt a rabbit and this helps cover the spaying/neutering procedures. Please contact us at tinyfriendsanimalrescue@gmail.com or through our website with any questions or interests in adopting. Thank you for considering to adopt and helping to save a life! :) http://tinyfriendsanimalrescue.com/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bambi, a Scotch Plains Dutch was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch for sale in Scotch Plains, or seeking a Dutch from a breeder in Scotch Plains.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scotch Plains already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scotch Plains breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch breeders who help with Dutch rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scotch Plains paves the way for another one to be saved.
