My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING—“Lily” is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to his/her owner or foster home to help with appropriate rehoming. Please contact this dog’s owner/foster home directly if you are interested in meeting or adopting him/her.

This beautiful gal is Lily, and while she may be a bit older, she has a lot more love to give and she’s hoping she finds a family soon so she can give them lots of love and get lots of love in return. Lily is a 10 year old Labrador Retriever mix, she is spayed and UTD on all her shots.

Lily was found wandering the streets of Salem, Oregon with her friend Duke (also here on petfinder) and she was picked up by a lovely lady who took them in and decided to keep them until she could find them both the perfect forever homes!

Its suspected that Lily hadnt had any training in her past but lucky for this gal her foster mom is a dog trainer! Lily has learned sit, stay, heel and now walks great on a leash. She is gentle with children and is a clam, quiet lady who likes to spend time sleeping at your feet while you work, and following you around the house during the day. All Lily wants out of the rest of her life is to be loved. To spend her days lying on a comfy bed, getting lots of delicious treats and most importantly, getting lots of love in the best years of her life. Lily would love to go to her new home with her friend Duke, as it’s suspected they’ve spent most of their lives together, but if not with Duke, then Lily prefers to be an only pet. She loves children and doesnt mind male dogs, but Lily prefers not to be around female dogs and cats. Because she has her days where she moves around slower she would love her new family to make sure she gets Glucosamine supplements to keep her healthy and happy.

Lily is a sweet girl, with a sweet disposition, and she wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life receiving lots and lots of love. If you have it in your heart to open your home and arms to this sweet senior girl, dont wait, adopt her and bring her home!

Adoption Fee: $50
