Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We rescued Sparkle who was a stray in the Dyersburg, TN animal shelter. She is a young girl, one to two years old. Sparkle weighs about 9 lbs. She is a sweet girl who LOVES being a lap dog. She does ok in a multi foster dog home but she would LOVE to be an only dog. Sparkle is playful and walks fine on leash. Sparkle had been severely neglected when she was picked up by animal control. Her tightly matted hair caused some scabby places on the skin of her nose and ear. She had a bad ear infection and we noticed after her spay surgery that she had started to limp or skip. We have done X-rays, treated her ear infection and she gets medicated baths for her skin. She looks and feels great. The xrays showed she has most likely been hit by a car just prior to her shelter stay. Nothing was broken but her spinal alignment is off and puts pressure on her sciatic nerve. She is on a pain pill for that and the vet feels at her young age this should heal and stop causing pain. She plays, runs, jumps and does all things that a young poodle is known to do. Sparkle's adoption fee is $200
