Frankie's Story...
Hi there, my name is Frankie! I am the 3 legged wonder of the pug rescue. I was in a car accident a few months back, but my foster mom has nursed me back to health and I am ready to find my fur-ever home!

I like to spend time laying around the house, eating, chewing my toys, sleeping, well you get the idea, I am part pug after all. If you like a boy with handsome features, look no further, I have an underbite that makes me unique and being a tripod makes me even more special!

Don't think that I would be a handful because I am missing a leg because I am here to tell you that I give my foster brother a run for his money! I don't let anything slow me down. We have been on walks, to parks and wouldn't you know to the pet store too. I can't wait to have adventures like that with my new family. What adventure would you like to take me on?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
