Meet Herbie the lovebug! He came to us from a local high kill shelter where his owners gave him up because they could no longer afford to care for him. It is unbelievable how anyone could give this little guy up because as far as we can tell he is amazing! He is a tiny boy weighing in at 3.8 pounds and is around 1-1.5 yrs old. He is super sweet and gets along well people and other dogs. We haven't had a chance to test him around cats, but predict that he will do well with them, too. Due to his small size and delicate body structure we would like to place him in a home without small children. He will need work on his housetraining, but he is a smart boy so he should learn quickly. He is crate trained- so that is a good start. He loves to cuddle and be held. Herbie's adoption fee of $275 goes towards the cost of his vetting, which includes a neuter, rabies, distemper, microchip, heartworm test, and fecal testing.
