Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pogo is a young Basset/English Bull Dog mix about 3 years of age. Agility, Agility, Agility...jumps straight up and down like a Pogo Stick with excitement when you come home. This guy is a gentle soul also curled up in your lap or with is head next to yours on the pillow watching tv. Pogo loves his morning walks/jogs and still has energy to play when you get home in the evening.
What we have noticed as his foster parents is that "whatever dog we bring to meet him--whether they are pups his age; or alpha females or senior males..he has this uncanny way to judge their temperment and adjust accordingly---he has had the ability to have encouraged two of our older females to play again and to have fun. His best friend was Lucky; who he gently kissed each morning before their romp and play.
Pogo loves life; people and as mentioned he has not met another dog he does not like....
Pogo is in a foster home in Sacramento wondering when a family that wants to smile all the time comes to adopt him because this boy makes you smile. .We love his short legs and his bouncy walk....we have had people stop us a hundred times to pet our guy in Home Depot, PetCo, PetsMart; the Dog Parks; on walks...people even take pictures of him with their telephones because of his short man high on life look!
He would be a great agility or flyball dog and we know could be a champion----he loves to play ball now...and competes with his foster siblings. Or he could be just your BEST FRIEND."
