When you think of the phrase velveteen rabbit, you must think of this girl named June. Her dark chocolate coat of fur is remarkably velvety in feel and touch. With that beautiful coat of hers comes a very smart, intuitive and emotional dog. This 2 year old girl weighs only 45 pounds and is really shorter in stature. It’s very easy to carry her around on nice road trips or out to the countryside for a hike. She is what you would call a "pleaser" kind of dog. She also is a very calm and quiet sort of girl, not a whiner or barker. June sleeps through the night on her dog bed, never gets on the furniture and her house manners are impeccable. She does wonderfully with dogs and even cats. It would be great for her to have a fenced yard but if you are a city kind of person and take her to the dog park daily or walks or runs then she will get exactly what she needs right there with you! She does adore running and playing but settles down well at night. She is house trained and honestly sheds very little.
