Max's Info...

Max's Story...
Max is a handsome and active, one-year-old, eight-pound, male, black and tan Min Pin looking for a loving guardian. Max was found tossed out in a snow drift in Addison, Illinois. He may have been miss-treated as he’s a bit timid with new people. He’s not a biter or growler, he just runs from strangers. Max is doing well with his crate-training and housebreaking. He doesn’t appear to know any commands yet. Max is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Max, please fill in the on-line adoption application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s. Max is currently staying at rescue headquarters at 5430 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. There will be an adoption event from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm this Saturday, February 1, 2014. Stop in and meet him and all the other adoptable dogs, or make an appointment to meet them at another time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Chicago Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
