Monkey Booger's Story...
Quit Monkeying around! Stop all that fun! I’m here on business, not pleasure. HA! I’m just joshin’ ya. I’m still a puppy, and I love a good time. It just might take a few minutes to prove it. I’m super sweet, insecure and very affectionate too, and I actually love to play. I am learning all kinds of great skills with other dogs, but I’ll be honest….they still make me a bit nervous. I could share my home with respectful kids 6+…. I do get overwhelmed by toddlers, and I can be quite jumpy during playtime, so bigger kids are just a better fit. I am doing great with my crate training, learning to walk on leash and picking up some new words like "sit"…I may have a storied past, but I assure you I have a big heart and brains to match, so any training I need should be fun for you and me. So stop Monkeying around and get down here! 1 year old-40lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet  health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, Toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monkey Booger, a Portland Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
