Here is what else his foster family had to say:
Lil Dude is a total sweetheart. He is very willing to please and overall has very good manners. He is friendly with everyone and always likes to say 'Hi" and meet new friends. He is curious but cautious with my two cats. He doesn't chase or bark at them, in fact he shows a lack of interest in them most of the time. That of course is unless they happen to teasingly run by him but he is still very gentle and has never shown any aggression to them. He still has a puppy look and acts very much like a pup with bursts of energy but will then crash and loves to lie at your feet for a good nap. He has become my little shadow and follows me everywhere is always interested in everything I am doing.
Lil Dude is pretty smart and is learning quickly. He knows sit and I am currently working on down and come. He is very quiet in the home, I have not heard him bark. He has amazing house manners. He has not tried to steal anything, he will sit and watch you eat but he doesn't invade your space or try to take it. He is fully house trained, has not done any business in the house. I am working on crate training him but he hates it! I leave him out of the crate most times but just ensure I leave him with lots of toys, and pick up the cat food! He walks very well on a leash not to much pulling, but he does cut you off criss-crossing sometimes but is getting better all the time.
He would do well with a family who has lots of time and kids that will love him and play with him. He loves to have his belly rubbed but will mouth a little due to the fact he’s still young. He will learn to stop with some training, he will stop if you say ouch (he will even kiss it better). He loves toys. He loves his kong (mostly because its filled with yummy treats). He knows basic commands and will even dance when you pick up his leash. Walks seem to be his favourite past time. Any family would be lucky to have him as an addition to their home!
If you think Lil Dude would be a good addition to your family, please submit an application for consideration.
