Winston's Story...
Meet Winston and you will meet one of the sweetest dogs around. He just turned 6 years old and has been around children since he was a puppy. He is very exuberant and loves everybody he meets. He is great with other dogs and we aren't sure about cats (though with his fabulous temperament I think you could learn to love them). Winston has been pretty ignored the last year of his life and would love to find a great family to love and cherish him. He almost purrs when his head is in your lap getting petted. Great family dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Bellingham Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
