Turby's Story...
Hi! My name is Turby. I hold a very special name as I am honored to be named after one of the fallen Yarnell Hill hot shots and hope to do his name justice.

I was found wondering the streets all by myself. A kind lady took me in hoping a human would come looking for me, or find her flyers, but no one ever did. She could not keep me and was not certain what to do with me when a volunteer from Valley Dogs offered to foster me until my new home came along.

I am believed to be a Manchester Terrier, less than 2 years of age. I am a very happy, playful boy. I love sitting on laps and sleeping with you all snuggled up nice and cozy and warm. I love other dogs and like a good round of play, either with my canine friends or my humans. When I am really happy and playful I get all wiggly. I really enjoy going for walks and getting to explore all the exciting things out there.

I am housebroken and crate trained (although I much prefer to be with you when I can be). I enjoy people (although I have not been around young children much) and I am not a barker, just a very good, happy boy.

Could your home be the one I am waiting for? If so, please contact my foster mom so we can meet and get to know each other.

For more information or to meet me, please complete an Adoption Interest form and please email crystallarnold@msn.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turby, a Gilbert Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
