Willetta's Story...
My name is Willetta.

My foster Mom calls me : "itty bitty Iggy" I am a lap lander, I want to be in your lap at all times. I am a bit possessive of my laps don't really want to share the lap. I do get along with other dogs. I am pretty calm most of the time, a bit timid of strangers at first, but will warm up once I know I am not in harms way.

I dance a little / but don't sing I would just be the best 'lil companion fur-kid. I can fit most anywhere lap, pocket, car seat, lap.

Please come and meet me, get to know me a bit better.

Wouldn’t you like to meet me? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email adopt@valleydogs.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willetta, a Gilbert Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
