My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is our first foster, and she did a great fitting into our pack, which includes 4 dogs and 2 cats. She was polite and patient, and running with the pack in no time. Zoey is happy in the morning as she runs and greets every person and dog and cat in the house. She wiggles with such excitement that she simply can't hold still. After they all go outside to potty, she sits and waits for a treat with the other 4 dogs, then she starts to explore the house again to see what mischief awaits...
Zoey loves it when you talk silly to her, and will show you her very special smile. It looks funny when you first see it, but she smiles so big that you can see all of her teeth. She knows her name and responds when called. Zoey loves to cuddle, and after a few weeks of allowing her to settle in, she is seven ok with the our other dogs and cats cuddling nearby, even right beside her. Zoey is mostly housebroken, and definitely prefers to go potty outside, but she doesn't like to go by herself, so she needs someone to go with her, person or dog. She can and will use a potty pad if you need. She doesn't love going into a crate, so that's a work in progress, but she doesn't have accidents in it anymore. She's been crated at our house for a full work day without accidents.
Zoey is unconcerned with the cats, and she figured out early that our older dog is never up for play, so she doesn't bother trying. Zoey is sensitive, doesn't bark much, but makes lots of noise when she is trying to get someone to play with her. She'll let just about anyone and everyone pick her up, including kids as young as 6. We had several gatherings at our house over the holidays, and Zoey proved to be the belle of the ball!!
