The NJSPCA recently took control of a Hunterdon Humane animal shelter amidst allegations of animal cruelty. The allegations include "failing to provide proper sustenance to nine cats at the shelter." Nicola was one of the cats at this shelter. This poor girl came to us suffering from bad nutrition and she was very thin. Because of her neglect, her coat is dull and she has dandruff from bad skin. It's going to take time, good food, and TLC until she becomes the beautiful cat she was always meant to be. Nicola is a long hair Tortie and about 2 years old. She is negative, spayed, fully vetted and ready for her forever home. Please help Nicola find the loving home she deserves.

Cat/Kitten Adoption process:
1. Fill out application
2. Adoption contract & Adoption fee
**If you do not have a current vet reference home visit is required
Adoption Fee:
$80 for a cat/kitten
*Adoption fees cover age appropriate vetting
** For the kittens that have not been fixed (due to being too young) we charge an additional $50 deposit with the condition that when they are fixed $50 is refunded.
One Step Closer Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the extent allowed by law. If you would like to make a donation to help us rescue more animals please send donations to PO Box 248, Sparta, NJ 07871. Please make your check payable to O.S.C.A.R..
