Houlihan is a very talkative girl and isn’t shy about asking for what she wants. She does like to be petted but her favorite thing is to sit high up in the cat tree and look out the window. Houlihan isn’t very much of a lap cat but she will snuggle with you on her own terms.

Houlihan may need a little time and patience to warm up to her adopters once they take her home, but once she does she will be a great addition to any family. When Houlihan was young, she was fostered in a home with large dogs and did great with them; however, it has been some time since she has been around dogs. Houlihan does fine with other cats after a proper introduction.

“Hot Lips” Houlihan is one of the M*A*S*H kittens were found as strays behind a gas station; the mother cat was TNR’ed. Houlihan was adopted as a kitten but returned due to allergies.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
