I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Hi, My names is Pebbles and I am a 4 year old 4lb Teacup Yorkie. I had an unfortunate accident and fell down some steps resulting in a head injury. A month ago I could not hold my head up to eat, and could not stand or walk. But thanks to some good veterinarians I have almost completely recovered. I eat all by myself and I have to say I am a little piggy. I walk all over even went up two steps, no I didn't learn my lesson. I do not like a crate so I sleep with my foster mom and dad in their king size bed, and when they go away I have my bed in an enclosed gated area. I am working on going potty on little pee pads as it is too cold to take me outside. I would say I am a special needs dog because I need to be held, and I need to be sitting right beside you. My back legs still need some work because they give out now and again, but doctors say that will go away in time. I also have some vision problems in my left eye. The vets aren't sure If I will regain normal vision in that eye or not. I love children but would be best suited to a household of adults because children can sometimes be too rough for a little princess like me. I am OK with other dogs, I really don't pay any attention to them. I have been spayed and I am up to date with all shots. Please come visit me at my foster home soon. I would make a great Valentine present.
Since Pebbles is currently living in a foster home arrangements must be made for you to meet her. If you're interested in adopting Pebbles please visit our website (www.animalfriendswestmoreland.org) and complete our adoption application. Once we have the application we can then arrange a time for those interested to meet Pebbles.
