God really does answer prayers! He did for me one cold rainy January night. My name is Pixie and I am a rescue girl with a story to tell. The rain was freezing that night as I wandered up and down the street looking for a safe warm place to rest. My body shook fiercely as the cold wet air whipped against my body again and again. My skin tinged with pain each step I took, as my hair was so badly matted and twisted. I didn’t think I’d make it too much longer on my own, I was getting weak and I was all alone. As I walked in the rain I cried aloud; Dear God, please send me someone who cares because I am so afraid I am going to die. I suddenly stopped walking! There, in front of me, stood a woman. The woman whispers to me, “Come with me, you are going to be okay now”. After, she dried me off and wrapped me in a nice warm blanket; I closed my eyes and thanked God for answering my prayers and giving me a second chance. I would love to have a family to call my own. I am very much a lap baby who loves to be showered with attention. I am 1 year old and weigh 6 pounds. I am playful and smart. Love to go for walks and ride in the car. I have wonderful house manners, I don’t bother with anything that is not mine and I do my business outside.
