My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zooey was adopted by my husband and I when she was just 2 months old. She was born September 9, 2009 to a breeder in Colorado. She is a white, doll face Persian kitty with gorgeous, soulful green eyes. She currently weighs about 7 pounds and is her full adult size and weight.

She loves music and singing. Both my husband and I sing songs to her all the time, especially Happy Birthday in harmony and Broadway musicals.

She has been an indoor kitty her whole life. She likes playing ball and and is very sensitive to your moods. The other day I burst into tears and she came right over to me to comfort me. She loves being petted on the sides of her face and top and sometimes hanging upside down in our arms.

We have fed her the same food since we got her which is Life's Abundance dry food mixed with Iam's anti-hairball and then wet treat 1 -2 times a day called Instinctive Choice. I was told this was the best food for her breed and you can get it delivered to you if you like.

We often get her Kitty-clipped to keep her hair shorter. We take her to Cindi at The Best Little Cathouse.

Zooey has never really been around other animals and we feel she would be best in a quiet, adults only home. She likes to hang out where ever you are.

She always uses her open litterbox and has never had an accidents. I use a clumping litter you can get at the grocery store and I empty her litterbox twice a day- pretty low maintenance.

She is amazingly loving, sweet, and very relaxed around me.

Zooey will be shown by appointment only and will not be at Petco.
