Mars's Story...
Hi! My name is Mars and I was born at the beginning of August 2013. I am the perfect kitten, at least that's what my foster mom says. I love to explore. If there is an area that needs sniffing I am up to the task. I'm also a big fan of playing. It's great if you give me toys, but I will find something myself if need be. I don't climb curtains, but I do enjoy climbing my person. What better way to say "I love you" than by getting right up close! I was rescued from a shelter when I was about four weeks old. That's too young and my little immune system couldn't handle the germs. I am all better now, though, thanks to a lot of love, care, and food. Did I mention I love to eat? I'm really adorable about it. I stick my whole face in the middle of the bowl. I'm ready to find that special place I'll call home. You'd better hurry though. I will probably get lots of attention. After all, I am the perfect kitten!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mars, a Smyrna Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
