Hiya! I'm Princess and I'm the sweetest gal in town! I'm a senior German Shepherd mix estimated to be around 6 years old but please don't let that turn you away. I have so much love to give!
Princess was displaced due to her family losing their home. She is a well-behaved, well-mannered dog with a loving disposition. Like most German Shepherds, she is fiercely loyal and believes it is her duty to alert you to the mailman, Girl scouts or just shady people. She does bark to alert her family but it is not excessive. Princess is low-maintenance, as her favorite thing to do is snuggle at your feet with a plush toy while you watch television. Princess is low-energy and would do best with someone experienced and well-versed with German Shepherds as she is apprehensive about strangers. Once she is given assurance that it is merely a pizza delivery, she goes back to her "spot" on the dog bed where she snuggles with a toy. Princess is crate-trained and house-trained. She is content with a very simple life and will wag her tail if you smile at her while doing the dishes. If you're looking to open your heart to a senior animal and you're a German Shepherd lover, this gal may be a great fit. Princess is great with kids, and good with other well behaved dogs after proper introduction. She is curious about cats, and may do better in a cat free home. Her current foster mom is an experienced animal rescuer who can answer any questions that you may have. Please help this Princess live happily ever after! Princess's adoption fee is $150.00.
