Patches's Story...
I am a part of a litter of 4. We are Blue Heeler mixes and are about 9-weeks old. We were found in a high kill shelter in North Carolina by Home for Good. They saved us because of our loving disposition. We would do well in any household---with other dogs and children. We are highly trainable and cannot wait to find our forever homes!

We are up to date with vaccinations and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Berkeley Heights Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler for sale in Berkeley Heights, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Berkeley Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
