My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stewart is a 10-year-old, Maltese, who should be spending his senior years in his own home. Unfortunately, because his family could no longer deal with his separation anxiety which also resulted in accidents in the house, he was given up for adoption. The stress of being surrendered has not helped; so Stewart is taking medication in hope that this will help. He is looking for a home where he can live out the rest of her life and where there is someone home a good deal of the time. Stewart has many years to give his guardian and he is always up for a walk, a car ride, or just hanging out with his favorite person. At ten, life is just beginning for Stewart – at least the best part, when he will enjoy a loving home and lifetime commitment. Seniors, like Stewart, have developed their own character, need less exercise, and are less excitable. Stewart would be a great match for a home with another quiet dog; he is well socialized and aware of what it means to be part of a “pack”. Stewart will take no time at all in assuming his role as a loyal companion. Since we have no history as to whether Stewart has ever lived with children, a family without young ones would best suit her. Please consider giving Stewart the home he so deserves.
