My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Is LENORA or Nora as we call her. She was found as a stray by a couple of our volunteers, living under a boat dock. She was very frightened and timid when she first came to us but she is warming up. When she came to the shelter she had a bad ulcer on her right eye and has had surgery to repair it. The vet says that she can still see out of the eye and she is now doing great. We have no idea what her breed is, probably some pit in there but she is truly the FL mystery mutt. Since she is feeling better after her surgery and recovery we have found that she likes other dogs and that tail wags full speed when she is taken out to play with her shelter mates. She is a nice size, small in stature, about 30 pounds. She really needs her own home but could maybe consider a foster for her to overcome her shyness. She has come so far with the volunteers and has a lot of love to share. Her adoption fee is $200.00 and if you are interested you can complete the adoption application at www.earsrescue.org. The adoption application is required to start the adoption process and is not a commitment to take the dog.
