Stormy's Story...
Stormy is a 7wk old little girl who showed up at a Good Samaritan's doorstep during the very coldest weather in Louisiana (9 degrees). They took her in and then called us. She is very smart, focused and outgoing. She already sits for treats. She's into everything and takes notice of things going on in her surroundings. She has figured out how to get in the bed via the small dog steps. At this stage she is very mouthy and needs chew toys. She is alot of fun especially when she wants to play with the cats. They put up with her until they've been annoyed enough and then run away, with her right behind. She would make a wonderful family pet.

Although Stormy is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy, a Groton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Groton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
