Sawyer's Story...
Sawyer is a 5 year old, 69 pound retired racing Greyhound. What a stunner. This guy will melt your heart. Sawyer is a gentle hound that aims to please. He has such a sweet face and will just stare at you to show his affection. He will daintily lay down as he eats his dinner and then is perfectly content with a little walk in the yard before settling in for a long snooze. Sawyer has gotten along very well with the other hounds and all of the volunteers. Please consider opening up your heart and your home to Sawyer. His racing name was Killer Sawyer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sawyer, a West Palm Beach Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
