My story

Ike's foster home does not have enough good things to say about this social snuggle bug. Ike is a Lab crossed with Shepherd, but is a smaller version of each breed at just 37 lbs. He is very portable! At about 1 and 1/2 years, Ike still requires some fast paced exercise daily, but will settle down to be a snuggle partner once play time is done.
Ike is just so willing to please! Ike has the best re-call and is learning to walk by your side on and off leash. His liquid brown eyes are just full of adoration any time he meets eye contact with his people. Since coming into rescue he has learned to be crate trained, housetrained and knows: lets go out, sit, wait, leave-it and is working on all the basics. Ike loves everyone and has a great time playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is great at riding in the car and can't wait to go with you wherever you travel. Ike would love a home that would enjoy his quick learning abilities. If he could have a fenced yard and another dog to play with it would be great, but not a necessity.
He has been neutered and brought up to date on vaccines, tested Heartworm negative and on flea/tick and Heartworm prevention.
