Lula's Story...
About Lula
Lula is a very special little girl. She was abandoned at a feral colony then rescued and brought into a foster home after it was discovered at the time she was spayed that she's a very social cat. You can see in her photos that her left ear tip has been removed showing that she came through the feral cat spay/neuter program. Her approximate date of birth is early August 2013.

She'll be the first to tell you that she's NOT a feral kitty. She states: "I am a love bug at night and very playful during the day. I have been around kids and other cats."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lula, a Winston-Salem Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
