My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chloe is a 30-pound, 6-year-old bundle of love. I've not found anyone she doesn't like. She does well with adults, children, other dogs and even the cat. She's one of the happiest dogs I've ever known. She is always smiling. With her pretty eyes and smiling face, people just fall in love with her. She probably would like to play - a lot! We play fetch some but with one very senior dog and another dog twice her size, I don't encourage her to get too rowdy. She often carries a tennis ball or a squeaky chicken around in her mouth. I guess she's just being her usual optimistic self.
Chloe comes running (and slides to a sit at your feet) when called and also sits for treats. She rides well in the car and has behaved well in public places. She doesn't care for the crate and would rather just be in a separate room. She has not chewed on anything . She wants to chase cars so a good fence will be very important. Her manners walking on the leash need a little polishing but the weather just hasn't allowed us to work on that much this winter. She is housebroken but we've had a few accidents. I attribute these to a lot of very cold weather that makes her want to hurry back in too soon and my not always reading her signals well. I think it's just a matter of everyone adjusting to everyone else.
