Rufus and Hollice's Story...
Rufus and Hollice are available as a bonded pair. Rufus is about 11 months old (as of April, 2014), and Hollice was born on January 6, 2014. Rufus had been alone for awhile, so he was very happy when we put him to work as a nanny boar when Hollice was weaned from his mom. Rufus is the more outgoing of the pair, and he enjoys showing off his pretty rosettes. Hollice is more shy, but very sweet with people and with his bff. They are both calm when being held, so would make a great fit in any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus and Hollice, a Fullerton Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Fullerton, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Fullerton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fullerton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fullerton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fullerton paves the way for another one to be saved.
