My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Colby! Colby is a 1yr old, neutered, Terrier that needs a forever family to love! He was saved from unnecessary euthanasia at a local shelter by The PRC on January 29th. The PRC staff could not resist his sweet attitude and adorable face. He is a scruffy boy who is very smart and eager to learn, in very good health and has a great personality. He loves to curl up inside his blankets or snuggle up next to you as well. He would do well with a family with kids or other dogs and wouldn't mind being the only kid at home either. He just needs someone to give him love! Please come visit with him!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
