Cowgirl's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cowgirl's Story...
Cowgirl, through no fault of her own, found herself in a small, rural, high kill shelter in Tennessee. She is such a fabulous dog that the staff appealed to this rescue to save her and we jumped on the chance. She is super smart, loves to play and will be so easily trained. She is one of those dogs that could excell at agility, flyball, or any form of obedience training. Just adding to this nice package is the fact that she is very sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She is a young adult at about 1 year of age; and is approx. 35 pounds. She is heartworm negative and on preventative, is spayed, up to date on all shots, on flea and tick prevention and microchipped. Give this Cowgirl a little chance and she will lasso your heart! For more info on her and to fill out an application, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or onemorelastchancerescue@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowgirl, a Plainfield Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
