Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.

If you have children, we suggest that prior to applying for a dog, you view the website http://www.livingwithkidsanddogs.com. The information is excellent and can help you determine which dog would be right for your family.
Henry is gorgeous dog with unique coloing and black spots almost like a dalmation!!! We believe he is a mix of blue heeler and beagle and has a soft fuzzy coat. Henry is now about 9 months old and weighs 34 pounds. He should be under 40 pounds full grown and is a nice compact size. In addition to being handsome, Henry has an endearing personality. He does enjoy cuddling but also loves to be in the fenced yard playing with the other dogs. He is smart and has already learned a few tricks such as sit, shake and down. He is dependably housetrained and is crate trained. Henry gets along great with other dogs and does well with cats too. He's a smart, active boy that needs a fenced yard, an active person or family, and would do best with another dog to play with. Henry is with a 501c3 rescue. His $300 adoption fee is to cover his full vetting including neuter, heartworm test and prevention, immunizations for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella, worming and he has a microchip.
