Dusty Rose : 7 month old female dilute calico Maine Coon mix

Really Dusty Rose is just a little kitten!. But she sure does look
Regal . We all could use her beautiful posture.

This little girl was all alone in a shelter cage. We have no knowledge of how she came to be there. An orphan. She was very small and very frightened. Her unusual coloring caught my eye and so she came into our rescue. When you held her she burrowed in and said please just, hold me don't put me down. She went to a foster home of a couple and 3 little cat loving kids. She spent hours in a human's arms. However when she wasn't in someone's arms she would hide or be ready to run and hide. Little noises and quick movements scared her.
Somehow I think she got very scared as a very young kitten and has been growing up and learning to outgrow that fear.

She is much better these days, playful and curious, braver. She will pull away from strangers but is cuddly with those she knows.She needs a quiet home with a human or humans who will love her and reassure her and will have the patience to enjoy the pleasure of watching her unfold.

Her soft fur is wonderfully unique in its coloration. Look at how her green eyes are set off by it. She is growing up to be such a beauty.
If you want your new cat to climb right into your lap and "choose you" she is not the girl for you. If you want to go to her with time and calm and love and watch her respond and come to love you she is perfect for you.

She has lived with other cats and is cat friendly.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.
