I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Meet sweet Bella who has been through a lot in her first 3 years of life on this earth. She arrived at the shelter extremely underweight at only 35 lbs and had surgery less than a week after she arrived to remove a rock, bamboo, and a rubber band that she had eaten while being starved. Bella has since recovered from the surgery and has gained a bit of weight, weighing in at about 65 lbs now! Bella is doing absolutely phenomenal in foster care! She is crate trained and potty trained. Bella hasn't had any problems or accidents in the crate while her foster parents are at work. She sleeps in the bedroom on the dog bed at night without any issues. Bella does great with the 2 medium/large female dogs she lives with in foster care. She has learned quite a bit while in foster care including Sit, Down, Up, Stay, Come, and Leave-It. Bella is learning to walk nicely on leash and does really well using the gentle leader. Bella can be an active dog at times and would love to continue to get at least 4 walks a week. She loves bath time and has no issues with water so she would most likely be good while camping and going on trips to the lake and/or river. She would do best in a home that understands that most dogs need time to adjust in a new home environment and get used to a new routine. Bella will need a family that is willing to continue her obedience to help shape her into the best dog she can be!
