“I saw her again today. She walked to my kennel door, opened it, slipped a collar and leash on me then we walked out of the shelter TOGETHER. It was cold and rainy outside, but we went out TOGETHER. I strained to be next to her as we drove away. Where were we going? Finally my feet and head were resting on her leg. I felt SAFE. I stayed next to her the entire trip. I didn’t know what to expect, but she told me it would be okay. When we stopped I looked up into her eyes. She scratched my chin, gave me a smile, and opened the door. She told me we would find SOMEONE to be my very own…that I would have that special someone to do things TOGETHER. “ ~Lydia

Lydia is about a year old Shiba Inu/Shepherd blend. She’s spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated. She loves people, plays well with other dogs, and enjoys playing fetch. She’s energetic and excellent on a leash walks.
