CLYDE's Story...
Clyde and his sister Bonnie were born on October 12, 2013. They are both beautiful puppies with an Australian Shepherd mom and Border Collie dad. Clyde is one of the smaller pups and has very sweet temperament. He was a little camera shy when these pictures were taken but he is relaxed and comfortable in his foster home. He loves his people and is good with dogs, cats and kids. Clyde is currently working on housetraining and doing very well. He will probably top off at about 45-50 lbs as an adult and he will surely be the most handsome dog at the dog park. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CLYDE, a Salem Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
