Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginger's Story...
Sweet Ginger was found abandoned in the shelter in a very pregnant way. Friends of Rescue saved her and helped her safely deliver her four boys. She has finished raising them now and is ready for her happily ever after! She is a chihuahua/dachshund mix and only around 7-8 lbs and 3-4 years old. Ginger is a total love. She is a bit nervous so we recommend she be with children over the age of 7 only. She would make a fantastic companion as she loves to snuggle, is totally housetrained, and will sleep through the night in a crate. Ginger is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different areas. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Chattanooga Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
