Katie was born at Prairie Paws Animal Shelter on December 22, 2013. Her mom is a 55 lb. Shepherd mix and came to the shelter as a pregnant stray but we do not know who her dad was. The shelter said her mom was a fantastic mother who took very good care of her pups.

Katie is a sweet little girl who has lots of spunk and energy. She loves to give you kisses and attention. If you like to play tug of war, she will gladly be your partner. When she is all tuckered out, she will lie on your lap and melt your heart with her sweet little face. Katie is an inquisitive puppy always looking for a new adventure. Katie is very food motivated and should be easy to train. Like all puppies, she likes to chew on anything, so she will needs lots of good chew toys in her new home. Puppies are a lot of work----but so worth it. They make you smile, laugh and bring joy to your heart. Katie should be a large size dog when she is full grown.
