My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3/8/08 Amy has tested heartworm positive and will need to recover in a foster home in the south.Towards early April she should be ready to travel north. Might your home be her final destination?

Update 11/17/07: Amy has been in a foster home and is doing fabulous. However, she really needs to find a forever home where she can get all the love and affection she deserves. Amy is a very kind girl, she just takes a little while to warm up to other dogs (she gets along wonderfully with her canine foster brothers and sisters and it didn't take long!). Just look at her sweet face. This dog is at our partner shelter in Arkansas or in foster care in Arkansas unless otherwise marked as "in Maine" or "In New England".

Hi I'm Amy! I'm an adorable, fairly young (maybe 1 1/2 years old) Labrador Retriever mix. I have recently had puppies and I am wearing a collar, so we know I belonged to someone at some point. Nevertheless, I was picked up as a stray. I am a very sweet girl and I'm very feminine looking don't you think?! I was very calm for the pictures and did not seem to mind cats at all. I would be the most wonderful addition to your family. I am very pretty and lovable.
