Jersey's Story...
Hey you looking for a dog? Well you got the best possible option right here! You wanna pal around and grab a slice? I wanna have somebody to love me! It’s a win-win! So maybe we could take a stroll down the boardwalk and figure this thing out, huh? Let me tell you some things about myself; I love kids of all ages, just love them! I get along with dogs of all kinds and love all the play time I get here! I could live with cats, they kinda creep me out, but I can manage. One thing you got know about us Jersey folk is that when we love, we love hard. So you got to know that you can handle a love like this, or else fogetaboutit! They are showing me all about this crate training, and you know what? It ain’t that bad! It is a nice thing to have skills, so I am thankful to have this knowledge imparted to me. So why take all the time and effort to get to the shore, when you got a better option right here? fogetaboutit!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jersey, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
