Roxi's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Roxi's Story...
Roxi is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female Pit Bull blend. Roxi is one solid girl with one ear that stands up and one that flops down. This makes this happy girl even more unique then she already is. Roxi seems to get along with other dogs, although she can be cage reactive. Once she is out from behind that kennel gate, she is a sweet girl. Roxi doesn't seem to like her mouth handled so looking at her teeth may be a challenge although she isn't aggressive at all. She isn't too fond of her tail being touched either. She would probably do best in a home with older children who understand and will not be in her face or pulling her tail. Roxi will do best in a home where she is included in daily activities so keep her mentally and physically stimulated. It wouldn't be a bad idea for her to lose a few pounds, so someone who walks or runs a lot would be great.

If you want to apply for Roxi click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxi, a Meridian Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
