Liza's Story...
This little darling is Liza. Liza just arrived at the shelter and has no fear of it at all! She is white with black spots and is about 6-8 months old. The minute she meets you she is your best friend. She is a TOTAL lap cat as you will witness by her video. She is soooooooooo extremely outgoing and friendly. Even comes when you call her. She just wants love and attention and is very affectionate. She would make an amazing addition to any type of household. She showed no fear to the dogs that were in the lobby. She was in a crate right on the floor with them. And we never saw her hiss at any of the other cats. Just a great temperament!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a Marseilles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
