We are pleased to introduce Special! Special is 6 years old, female, and is a Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix.
Special is just that; she is as special as a dog can be! This girl is very sweet, loves to be petted and loves belly rubs! Because her previous owners never exposed her to many new places or people, she is a bit timid and nervous around new people and in new places, but once you earn her trust, she is your best bud and will give you nothing but love and affection.
Special is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on leash, and she knows basic commands. She is very intelligent. She loves the company of other dogs, but would do best with medium-large sized dogs as she likes to rough house and it may be a little too much for a small dog. She is fine around cats when on leash, but will chase them when off-leash.
Special would really be a good match for a home with adults, where she wouldn't be left alone for long periods of time, and where her new mom or dad would spend time with her taking her to new places and to meet new people so she is more comfortable when going out and about.
