My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** UPDATE *** This is Oliver, a one year old male pit-great dane mix. He has the stocky build of a full size bull dog, but has facial features, jowls and tall pointed ears and the stand and walk of a great dane. He is snow white with the beautiful mahogany markings found on a bull dog, and he has pale golden eyes. He weighs about 51 pounds. If interested, email psiloveyouar@gmail.com. Monica, I wanted to give you an update on Oliver, the great dog we are trying to help find his forever home.

He is cute beyond words! He has been neutered, has all his shots, and has tested negative for HW. He is approximately one year old and is believed to be a great dane - pit mix. He weighs about 50 pounds. I am attaching some recent photos. He is so white that he appears pink around his nose, eyes and ears.

He has been fostered at a veterinary clinic in Dardanelle for the past two weeks and he is thriving there. The staff at the clinic will attest to what a sweet and gentle dog he is.

Betty and I take him out twice a week to expose him to as many social situations as possible and he has never shown any aggression at any time. We have not even heard him bark!

Wherever we go people are constantly stopping us to ask if they can pet him or play with him and he is always excited to make new friends. He loves to ride in the car and he walks well with his leash and harness. He especially loves to go to the drive-through at McDonald's to get a cheeseburger. The workers come to the window to visit with him.

We have had some inquiries bout him, but none were ideal. We are being extremely cautious about where he is placed because his original owners were not equipped to care for him properly. They voluntarily gave him up for financial reasons. He will make an excellent companion for someone and we definitely don't want him to go into a situation where he will be chained or left in a pen. He is not that sort of dog. He is kind, affectionate, and loves human companionship. Betty and I have eleven dogs and five cats between us and we cannot keep him.

We love him and we feel he has proven himself to be a great dog, deserving of a loving family. I hope you can help us find someone who will love him as much as we do.
