Taya's Story...
Say hello to Taya! Taya is a 2 year old 22 pounds Border Collie/Terrier Cross. This little girl will melt your heart. Taya was found with possibly her litter mate Breeze (also up for adoption) in the Melfort area and stayed on a farm before coming to New Hope. This little girl loves to snuggle right up to you and is so full of love!

Taya loves her food almost as much as she loves her humans! Taya knows how to sit and wait for her food and will come barreling at it once you tell her it’s time. Taya is also crate trained and house trained and sleeps in her crate at night, but loves to roam around free when she can with no problems – she is
very well behaved! You’ll often find her snuggled up on the couch snoring away!

Taya has no problem with women but appears to be a little shy around men. She loves children and has been around kids as young as 3. She does get very excited with other dogs and cats, but once she is introduced to them she is very content having them around; however Taya is known to not be good with chickens.

Taya is looking for a loving forever home with people that love to go on walks and snuggle up at night. This little girl cant wait to roll over for belly rubs with a new family. If you think Taya could be the next greatest addition to your family, she would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taya, a Saskatoon Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
