My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sweetest Duke of Earl that you will ever meet. This purebred, 7 year old Schnauzer is humble, kind and nothing but a lover. At just 13 pounds, this calm and laidback boy found himself and his brother in a high kill shelter in Memphis Animal Shelter. Surrendered by their owner, his brother who was born without a left front paw, got adopted right away and Duke was left behind. The Schnauzer rescue that took Duke of Earl had intended to keep him but over the weeks one of their other Schnauzers became very jealous and began to attack him. Duke is so easy going he won’t fight back. He just screams. He is quite the lap dog, and would do best in a quiet home with someone who is home all the time. He travels in a car beautifully and has traveled many miles with the current Schnauzer rescue lady and her husband. CCR is assisting in finding him a welcoming home where there are no other jealous dogs. Duke is crate trained (although not needed because he is perfect when left alone in the house ) and he is housetrained. He walks like royalty on a leash and is willing to do whatever you want of him ! There is no more perfect dog out there than this Duke of Earl. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
