My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Mattie and I am a Yorkie Poo. I am a nearly 7 years old with a birthday of 4/22/2007. I am tee tiny with a weight of only 3 lbs...I came to CRT quite by chance as my foster mom was coming out of the shelter, after picking up a few Chihuahuas, and saw me with my elderly daddy who couldn't care for me any more. I was very sad to be leaving my family but I was a terrible mess and hadn't been properly cared for for several years. As a result foster mom had to shave off all my hair til I was bald and start me on a really good dog food to clear up my skin issues and then I went to the vet to have all my teeth pulled and to be spayed. What an adventure! I am in perfect shape now and am looking for my new forever family. I am hoping that if you are reading this you are the one for ME! I need lots of love and need to be groomed regularly. I do not shed but I am a Poodle Yorkie mix so i can get a little itchy if you don't give me a bath every now and then!
